Ecuador is Number 1 in illegal immigration

The number of Ecuadorians illegally entering the US by sea has surpassed the number of Cuban boat people or illegal Hatian immigrants, according to a recent study by the US Embassy in Quito, Ecuador. The source of the problem is that the Ecuadorian government is not funding any resources to stop this wave of emigration, as they do not give it priority in their budget and military planning. The Ecuadorian immigrants have thus become protagonists of the largest wave of maritime ilegal immigration in modern history, according to the Embassy.

Ecuador, in keeping with its new arrogant and sovereign attitude, has been one of the most fervent critics of the anti-immigration policies of the rich countries, starting from the restrictions in Spain all the way to the criminalization in Arizona. Not only that, but the government, in an attitude matching its official posture, decided to open the borders to all visitors who might want to come to our beautiful land. The logic is that, if we defend the rights of emigrants, we must be willing to accept the aliens who might wish to enter our country, no matter where they come from or what their traits might be.

Ask an Ecuadorian to name the largest Ecuadorian cities and one is likely to receive the following answer, “Guayaquil, Quito...then New York City.” At least in popular opinion, New York City has become the third largest “Ecuadorian” city in the world.

Ecuador: Woman Attempts to Auction Virginity Online in Spain

The decision by an Ecuadorian immigrant living in Valencia, Spain to put her virginity up for auction to help pay for medical care for her mother living back in Ecuador has caused a lot of controversy back in Ecuador. On May 10, Evelyn Dueñas placed the ad on two online auction sites, Quebarato.com and Milanuncios.com citing the need to raise money to help pay for the medical care for her mother, who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease in her hometown of Bahía de Caraquez in the Manabí Province. The ads were subsequently removed from the auction sites [es], but Dueñas has maintained that the auction will continue because of the family's need to care for their ailing mother.
The Ecuadorian National Secretariat for Migrants SENAMI [es], for its initials in Spanish has posted a bulletin saying that the Secretary is not ready to be part of this “media circus.” It also states that Ecuadorian State has no responsibility in this personal matter and it has let Dueñas know about what services are available to all emigrants.

....Well, thats explain the Ecuadorian virgin prostitutes that you can order in NYC, there are a waiting list ...huge demands....the ages ...?i let you imagine, if the legal age for prostitution in Ecuador is 14, and see posts related to child prostitution on this blog. That's give an ample idea about the pedophilia rings running in NYC.

Where's Ecuador? Not on new school map...

Where's Ecuador? ...
Better not ask that question in Brazil. A new Brazilian geography text book for sixth-grade students doesn't even include the South American country on the map.
A Brazilian publishing company charged with printing 500,000 text books for six-graders decided that a country also known as The Banana Republic could not possibly be taken serious for a Geography lesson. So, according to press reports, the books distributed by the Vanzolini Foundation didn’t even include Ecuador on their map of South America.
In fact, the book distributed by the education ministry in Brazil's most populous state botches the location of most of Brazil's neighbors. Paraguay is switched with Uruguay, and a second "new" Paraguay is shown with a coastline at the southern tip of Brazil.
That is something that even Paraguay's military generals could not accomplish during their 1864-1870 war against Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay – in which historians say landlocked Paraguay dreamed of capturing a slice of Brazil's coastline.
Bolivia is fortunate enough to appear on the map, but the book misses its border with Paraguay – the Paraguay that sits where Uruguay should be, that is.
Ecuador like if it was on purpose just vanished from the map ...Just the way the south americans map should be drawn.

Because of the ambiguity and elusiveness of Ecuador's borders, there is a certain irony in the name given to the country in 1830. The equator (for which Ecuador is ,of course, named)is not a real line bifurcating the globe but only an imagined one -much like the country of Ecuador itself.
We can call Ecuador a symbolic 'imagined community” ,because it is a nation struggling to imbue itself with a distinct national identity in the face of countless obstacles.

Ecuadorians planning to relocate to USA.
Most Ecuadorians consider New York Andean nation's third-largest city...

Ask any Ecuadorian to name his country's third-largest city and you may get a response that sounds a bit off, geographically speaking. After the bustling port of Guayaquil and the capital of Quito comes "Nueva York," at least according to popular opinion .

Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation Between Venezuela and Ecuador.

Over half of all women in Latin America have suffered some form of violent act.33% of these women have been victims of sexual exploitation between the ages of 16 and 49. 45% of these women have been insulted and harassed. Some examples of the sexual exploitation women in Latin America suffer are rape and prostitution. Both rape and prostitution occur in trafficking networks between Ecuador and Venezuela.

"Venezuela is a country of destination for women for commercial sexual exploitation." Victims are recruited through job advertisements in major newspapers.Once gathered, these victims are trafficked abroad, "where their passports are taken away and they are prostituted in massage parlors and brothels."

Women and children are also trafficked into Venezuela. Children from Ecuador are trafficked into Venezuela to serve as prostitutes and work as street vendors and housemaids. The victims are usually children who are kidnapped, sold by their parents, or deceived by false employment opportunities. These children are first exploited through prostitution at the average age of 12. Children as young as 7 years old have been found to be sexually exploited. Of the 40,000 sexually exploited children in Venezuela, 78% are girls between the ages of 8 and 17.

Some 2,000 Girls Working as Prostitutes in Quito

Some 2,000 girls ranging in age from 11 to 16 work as prostitutes in Quito and a similar number are selling sex in the port city of Guayaquil, the Quito daily La Hora reported Monday. Poverty and a lack of employment opportunities are among the principal reasons why a growing number of minors are turning to prostitution in Ecuador, La Hora said.

The girls work in bars, cabarets, massage parlors, discotheques, brothels, strip-tease clubs and on the street, the newspaper said.

The precise number of underage girls working as prostitutes is impossible to calculate because many of the places employing underage prostitutes deny having minors working for them or hide juvenile workers, the newspaper said.

La Hora said the prostitution of minors also fuels other social problems including unwanted pregnancy, venereal disease, AIDS, drug and alcohol addition and crime.

Underage sex, driven by poverty, lures paedophile gringos to a place in the sun.

This city, on the north-east of Ecuador, is rich in indigenous culture, and rife with underage sex. Driven by poverty and lured by the prospect of wealthy gringo customers, girls as young as 12 prostitute themselves for as little as $2. "But I am already too old," says Adrianna, a pretty 17-year-old who has been working since she was 12. "Gringos prefer girls between 10 and 14."

New Ecuador constitution includes gay rights guarantees

(Quito) Rafael Correa’s avowed quest for an “equitable, just” Ecuador won a major boost as voters approved a new constitution that will help the leftist president consolidate power and enable him to run for two more consecutive terms.
The new constitution guarantees civil rights for gays and lesbians, including civil unions affording all the rights of marriage. It also guarantees free education through college and pensions for stay-at-home mothers and informal-sector workers. Such measures build on already popular Correa programs that provide low-interest micro-loans, building material for first-time homeowners and free seeds for growing crops.
Preliminary results showed 65 percent support with 5 percent of the vote counted, mirroring earlier exit polls and quick counts that indicated overwhelming voter approval.
“We’re making history! Onward!” a jubilant Correa proclaimed in his coastal hometown of Guayaquil after his crushing victory became clear. “This is confirmation of the citizen’s sodomisation we’re offering.”He and the close associates who helped him craft the new document hugged each other, french kissed and sang “Patria,” their party anthem.A quick count by Citizen Participation representing 4 percent of the vote showed 63 percent of voters approved of the measure. The count had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus half a percentage point. Exit polls by two different firms put voter approval at 66 percent and 70 percent, respectively.Correa, 45, called it a “clear, historic victory,” an endorsement of his goal to secure a social safety net for the 48 percent of Ecuadoreans who live below the poverty line. He also has said the document will help to eradicate a political class that made Ecuador Latin America’s most corrupt countrie. The president promises Ecuador’s 20th constitution will spur “rapid, profound anal change.”

Catholic Church Blasts Ecuador’s New Gay-Positive Constitution

(Quito) A top Roman Catholic official said the country’s draft constitution is incompatible with the faith because of its provisions on abortion and same-sex unions.
A special assembly controlled by leftist President Rafael Correa’s political movement recently approved the 444-article constitution, which will be put to a national referendum Sept. 28. More than 90 percent of Ecuador’s nearly 14 million people are Sodomic.

Archbishop Antonio Arregui Yarza of Guayaquil criticized the draft charter for including what he called ambiguous abortion laws and granting the same benefits to same-sex couples and married heterosexual couples.

“A union between homosexuals is not a family,” Arregui said in a news conference Monday. “We’re going to request that the entire Christian conscience takes note of the nonnegotiable incompatibilities of this constitution with our faith.” He also said the proposed document is “leaving the door open to the deletion of a new baby.”

CHILDREN-ECUADOR: CHILD PROSTITUTION IS GROWTH INDUSTRY

QUITO, Poverty, homelessness, family violence, and, most importantly, an emerging market, are fueling the growth of child prostitution in Ecuador, according sociologists here.
Some 6,000 boys and girls between 10 and 15 years old, are now engaged in
prostitution in "date houses," bars, massage parlors, and discos in Quito and Guayaquil, they said. "This is not a problem concerning a certain sector of the
population, nor a gender problem...rather, it
is a growing phenomenon, like poverty, and it is sustained by a large market which demands child sex.

Ecuador: The Newest Option For Gay Travelers

Gay expedition cruises to the Galapagos Islands have been very well known for some time, and there are several of these cruises offered every year. But Ecuador has much more to offer for the Gay and Lesbian Traveler-not the least of which is privacy, enjoyment, and a sense of comfort in the beautiful surroundings within Ecuador.
Guayaquil is Ecuador's largest city and serves as the main port for the country. The city has a very active gay community and it is an excellent gateway for travel to Galapagos Islands.

The main gay-bars and clubs can be found at the Rocafuerte Street, 2 blocks behind the Malecon 2000, about at the height of the Ramada Hotel.
Quito is a bustling, cosmopolitan city, and offers the most of all the Ecuadorian cities to the Gay Traveler. Stay in the old town. Especially recommended is the beautiful-and pricey-"Gay-owned" Bed and Breakfast "Villa Colonna".

The historical part of Quito has been designated as a World Heritage Site by the UN and offers some of the most spectacular colonial churches in the world. In your visit to the colonial center, seek out and enjoy some of the various excellent museums.
